Vacation and resignation of, and removal from, the office of Deputy Chairman :  CONSTITUTION OF INDIA."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Part V Article 90. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Vacation and resignation of, and removal from, the office of Deputy Chairman : <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A member holding office as Deputy Chairman of the Council of States \u2014<\/p>\n<p>(a) shall vacate his office if he ceases to be a member of the Council;<\/p>\n<p>(b) may at any time, by writing under his hand addressed to the Chairman, resign his office;and<\/p>\n<p>(c) may be removed from his office by a resolution of the Council passed by a majority of all the then members of the Council:<\/p>\n<p>Provided that no resolution for the purpose of clause (c) shall be moved unless at least fourteen days\u2019 notice has been given of the intention to move the resolution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Part V Article 90.
